Pastoral Staff

Here at Bible Baptist Church, our pastors are dedicated to sharing in-depth teachings and topics that may not be covered by most Christian pastors in today’s modern era. We believe in preaching solely from the AV 1611, King James Bible, as we believe it is the perfect and preserved word of God. Come join us and experience the power of God’s word.

Timothy A. Wilson

Pastor

The greatest thing any man can say in this life is that he knows the Lord Jesus Christ as his Saviour. I was born in Denver, Colorado in November of 1955, but I wasn’t “born again” until 24 years later. My father worked for a company that placed the Minute Man missiles (nuclear warheads) in their “silos” out west, so we traveled a lot and were in church very little. When we moved to Tennessee, I was fortunate in that I had Grandparents who were saved and always in church. Like many people, I went to the altar at a young age and claimed to be saved from that experience. Later years would prove this to be false.

After marrying the love of my life and sweetheart of 7 years, I began an apprenticeship which put me working with a pastor that had just started an independent, Bible Believing, Baptist Church in the area. After many months of witnessing to me, he invited himself to my house on a Thursday evening. I had been living as most unsaved men do, causing great hardship on the marriage to the point of near destruction. I wanted what that preacher had, but I didn’t want to admit it. I was sick of the life that I had led and was looking for something more. He opened an old King James Bible and began to show me things that I had only heard about from others throughout my life. There it was, in black and white; I could be saved, saved eternally and be sure about it. I could be forgiven for a life of wicked sin. I didn’t have to go to hell and what’s more, I could go to Heaven! I bowed my head and trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as my Saviour that night and have never regretted the greatest decision of my life! He saved my soul, my marriage, my family and called me to preach the same Word that had done all of this for me.

September 2024 will be 44 years down the road and I’m thankful to say that God has never failed, and I know He never will. He has brought my family through many a trial and trouble, gave me a Bible I can believe and a Church to pastor. All I can say is “To God be the glory! Great things He hath done!” And dear reader, He and He alone can do the same for you.

Associate Pastor

Luke 12:48 … For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required…

1 Corinthians 4:2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

I was born in Furth, Germany, in May of 1994 to parents who were missionaries to the U.S. service men and women stationed there. We returned to the States when I was a young boy.

All my life, I sat under the preaching of my father, who, to this day, pastors King James Bible Baptist Church in Covington, Louisiana. Despite growing up in a Bible-believing Christian home, and knowing the Gospel since before I can remember, I was still lost. At the age of six, I realized this and asked the Lord Jesus Christ to save me from hell. Praise God, 24 years later, I can testify that His precious blood saves to the uttermost!

In May of 2018, I graduated from Pensacola Bible Institute. I married my beautiful wife in October, 2020, and after a time of sitting under the preaching and teaching at Bible Baptist Church in Pensacola, Florida, we moved to Tennessee in September, 2022 to attend Bible Baptist Church in Rickman, Tennessee. After being busy in the work, and sitting under brother Tim Wilson’s preaching, I surrendered to the call to preach. I was ordained to the ministry in October, 2023, and appointed as pastor Wilson’s associate in November the same year.

To say God has been good in my life is a vast understatement. I owe a great debt to the Lord Jesus Christ that can never be repaid, by His grace, I’ll continue to serve Him until He calls me home.
